This page is a hub for timekeeping, philosophies about time, and a link to the actual wikipedia page about time which would be this link
time, I think:
- factual solar cycle = 392.535 d
- regular year = 392/393 days (alternating)
- for every 200 years we need to add 7 extra days; this doesn't add up, but basically 100 years there's a grand festival that's 3/4 days (alternating)
- 28 hours a day; days are divided into 4x 7h periods and 7x 4h periods (used for various things)
- 56 minutes an hour, 56 seconds a minute
- seconds per bep solar cycle: 34467713.3
to keep me sane I keep the seconds the same;
- bep solar cycle: ~399 (398.931866898) earth days / ~1.1 (1.09146885608) earth year
- bep day: ~24.4 earth hours
- bep hour: ~52.3 earth minutes
- bep minute: 56 seconds (duh)
factual midnight is in the last 7h of a day, at hour 24.5h. dates roll over at 3.5h past factual midnight
