A crumble (Bep: TRANSLATE) is a kind of object with personal or spiritual significance, chiefly in Bep contexts. Crumbles are typically carried for various forms of luck, or as keepsakes connecting the wearer to a place, person, or other entity.

Crumbles are generally made of lustrous metals, and feature decorations both in the metal base and using other materials. They frequently resemble medallions or coins, though more complex three-dimensional "knot" shapes are also becoming common. Techniques such as stamping and engraving are near-universal for decorating the metal itself, often accompanied by inlaid materials such as contrasting metals, gemstones, thread, or enamel.

Flat ones sometimes have a hole in the middle so you can thread it on something like a bracelet, belt, or maybe even necklace. This is not required.

Three-dimensional knot crumbles rarely have any straight edges, typically being made from metal thread or rings. Knot crumbles are always visibly empty in the middle, having originally spread from ORIGIN REGION, where medallion-like crumbles also universally have holes in the middle. Despite the popularization of knot crumbles all across the domain, the notion that crumbles must be hollow remains obscure outside ORIGIN REGION.
