ahkakijs̊whte; ahkaki ji s̊whte (abbreviated K̊K̊S̊), [ɑ.ʰkɑ.ki çi e̯̊ɯ.ʰt̪ɘ]
ghost.DIM-ASSOC-find, ʟɪᴛ. little spirit's finding, finder of small ghosts, etc

  • the finding of a dead child
  • (informal, bit morbid) people who go outside searching for children, particularly during bad weather that might spell misfortune for children that occur outside but don't get noticed. implies these people hardly ever arrive in time, which used to be very much true but still undermines their effort.

The abbreviation in particular may often be seen on various public information posters urging people to check their homes' surroundings for kids during and right after storms, flash floods, etc.
