Varu language
Varu/ʌaru [ɮʲær̝̊ɨ][???] (bep: [ʎɑ.rɨ])
- Vʌ /ɮʲ/ (bep: ʎ~l)
- Lʟ /ɻ~ɹ~ɺ?/ (bep: l)
- Łł /ɮˠ/ (bep: N/A)
- Xx /ɬ? ɕ?/ (bep: ʎ̥)
I'm basically thinking less phonemes but more liberal use of them
Bep Xx → (W̊ẘ→) Ħħ or something? equivalence unclear.
glide type C(G)V structure here too such that C# is not possible but internal clusters are more free. can a word start with ks, rʌ, tn? why not..?
Gg [k͈]?
there's also a ħ and long/short vowels I think??
etc??
mutually influenceful with bep, meaning they share heaps of lexicon and share some notions of phono.
suffers from pharyngealization and voices most things
