Fortress (agriculture)

Fortresses, also called cities, are large pieces of stone architecture used in Bep society. Most fortresses' primary function is to offer shelter, protection, and enclosure of livestock such as snakes or poultry; they typically also house some staff, community storage, and fungal or plant-based agriculture.

Analogous structures built in less compact formats, and/or out of other materials than stone, may be called towns or cities instead.
